Everything’s Going Wrong (Everything’s Getting’ Right)
Copyright 2015, Jan Puterbaugh
Every time I turn around I got another mountain to climb,
I’ve been so up and I’ve been so down my heart’s quit keepin’ time!
Memories I would have liked to have Just fade into the gray…..
Lord, keep me strong, won’t ya be with me, let today be a new day!
I took a walk to see what I could find, I looked up to the sky.
Saw the early mornin’ stars just a peekin’ out like a twinkle in God’s own eye’s
A little thought just occurred to me, When I saw the risin’ Son
Lord, keep me strong……..just fill me….fill me with my your love!
Everything’s goin’ wrong…..but everything’s getting’ right!
I thought I’d lost it all….but Lord, You’re in my life!!!!
The days seem to come and go…..but with you in my heart and mind
Though everything’s goin’ wrong…..everything….. everything’s getting’ right! Oh-oh yeah!
Everythings’ getting’ right! Hey-ey Lord………
Sometimes the sun needs to go down on different things in our lives
Feelin’ alone, disappointment can fill our heart’s and minds.
I know you can take the pain I’ve got and help me put it all behind
Though everythin’s goin’ wrong, everything…. With You Lord’s getting’ right!….. Oh-oh yeah!
Everythings’ getting’ right! Hey-ey Lord………
Every time I turn around I got another mountain to climb,
I’ve been so up and I’ve been so down my heart’s quit keepin’ time!
Memories I would have liked to have Just fade into the gray…..
Lord, keep me strong, won’t ya be with me, let today be a new day! Oh-oh Lord!
Let today be a new day! Hey-ey Lord!
Oh-oh yeah!

IT’S ALRIGHT WRITTEN BY RICHARD WATTS
VERSE 1:
There’s a light out on the ocean… it shines through the night
The fog’s so thick… you can cut it with a knife,
I can hear the sounds of the tug boats… cryin’ in the night.
They’re there to let us know… it’s gonna be alright.
CHORUS:
It’s alright… It’s alright… ‘Cause the Lord is here… It’s gonna be alright!
It’s alright… It’s alright… ‘Cause the Lord is here… It’s gonna be alright!
VERSE 2:
Alone out on the battlefield… The blood from my wound turns dry,
It was the my heart—started to pound cause I knew I was gonna die
There was darkness all around me… I was cold and all alone
When a voice came from--out of my past and said it’s gonna be alright.
VERSE 3:
There’s a boy…with a gun in his hand… standin’ I the street
Flashing lights all around him…justice he’ll soon meet.
His mother cried out his name… as gunfire woke the night.
But before he died that voice had come and said it’s gonna be alright.

SOMETIMES
Copyright 1982 Jan Puterbaugh
Sometimes, early in the mornin’ my heart begins to sing.
Sometimes, when I think of you Lord, I escape all the pain. Sometimes……….Sometimes……….
I can think of you, I remember your heart and my life begins to change
I can see your eyes, I can feel your touch, and I can hear you callin’ my name.
And Sometimes…………..…. Sometimes…………………. Yes Sometimes………. Sometimes……….
We can walk alone if we want to….. Hand in hand, if we try,
We can be at peace with our brother, Lord, I need you in my life.
Sometimes we’ve got to laugh…..Sometimes we’ve got to cry.
Sometimes we just can’t give up….. We’ve got to search ourselves inside
And Sometimes…………..…. Sometimes……….
Yes Sometimes………. Sometimes………. (sometimes) (sometimes)
Sometimes everything works out.....

THE LETTER BY RICHARD WATTS
VERSE 1:
I’m writin’ a letter to the Lord… I’m gonna tell Him that I love Him so.
I’m gonna mail it on the wings of a dove…, I’m gonna send it to the heavens up above.
CHORUS:
I’m gonna ask Him to save my soul…, and take me home when I die
I’m gonna walk down those roads made of gold
I’m gonna live forevermore, when my ship comes to the shore
I’m gonna fly across the sky with my brand new wings.
VERSE 2:
I’m writin’ a letter to the Lord … I’m gonna ask Him to mend my broken heart
I’m gonna tell Him that I’m gonna open the door so He can walk in…, any time He wants.

MAGNOLIA Written by J.J. Cale Copyright 1972
Whippoorwill's singing, Soft summer breeze, makes me think of my baby
I left down in New Orleans, I left down in New Orleans.
Magnolia, you sweet thing, You're driving me mad, Got to get back to you, babe
You're the best I ever had, You're the best I ever had.
You whisper "Good morning", so gently in my ear, I'm coming home to you, babe
I'll soon be there, I'll soon be there.
